About Zentel Telecom Ltd.

Zentel Telecom Ltd. was founded by Sean Kenwrick who has been building PC based telecommunications systems since the 1980's.     In those early days IVR systems bore little resemblance to the high-density platforms we see to day, and the first systems consisted of a single Texas Intruments voice processing card inside a DOS based IBM 286 PC providing only a single voice and PSTN channel per PC.

The underlying hardware quickly got faster and more powerful of course, and during the premium rate boom of the early and mid 90s his programming skills took him all over the world through Europe, South East Asia and the Middle East.      During this time he gained a great deal of experience with programming, building  and maintaining large PC based IVR platforms.

In order to simplify the development and maintenance of these large systems he needed a set of tools that would take away the complications of development whilst still exposing all the power of the underlying hardware.      It is from this work that the  'Telecom Engine' was born and which has helped cement his reputation for providing highly stable and bug-free systems in record time.

The 'Telecom Engine' has now been packaged as a commercial product and is now a mature and proven technology running on many thousands of channels worldwide
