Downloads:

The latest version of the Telecom Engine (v1.6) can be downloaded here: TelecomEngine1_6.zip

Without a run-time or development dongle the Telecom Engine will run in evaluation mode. For the run-time engine this means a maximum of 15 tasks can be run simultaneously and the Telecom Engine will run for a maximum of 15 minutes before automatically quitting. For the compiler running in evalutation mode a maximum of 100 lines of source code can be compiled.

Quick Start:

Unzip the TelecomEngine folder and you will find the following sub-folders:

TelecomEngine/bin

TelcomEngine/include

TelecomEngine/example_code

Add the TelecomEngine/bin subfolder into your PATH environment variable:

(START->Control Panel->System->Advanced->Environment Variables)

Then open a command prompt and change to the TelcomEngine/example_code subfolder where you will find some batch files:

mk.bat and run.bat, runa.bat and runp.bat

These batch files will enable you to compile and run the example code. Use runa.bat for running Aculab examples, and runp.bat for running PIKA examples (see the readme.txt files)

Demonstration software:

A more sophisticated demonstration of the Telecom Engine running on Aculab boards can be found here: DEMO_ACU.zip

A more sophisticated demonstration of the Telecom Engine running on PIKA (HMP) can be found here: DEMO_PIKA.zip

Note that these demo programs exceed the 100 line limit for the evaluation version of the compiler and will require a full development licence to compile.

Unzip this below the TelecomEngine folder created when you installed the above software, and look at the help files in the docs sub-folder (or a README.TXT file) for a detailed description of this demonstration software.
